The longest serving school principal In Nigeria, Rev. Fr. O’Connell dies at 85 at age 84 he was still in service

Rev. Fr. Jeremiah Dermot O'Connell has been reported dead, he died on the 14th of March 2018 at the of 85, he was the longest-serving principal in Niger State  and Nigeria as a whole, he decided to return to his country, the Republic of Ireland last year after he retired

When he came to Nigeria in 1967, been a missionary he started as a Catholic Priest in Calabar and later relocated to Niger State where he became the principal of a Government Secondary School, Minna, even ar 84 he was still working
