A baby born with four legs and two reproductive organs

20-year-old Zainab gave birth on March 9, 2018, to a baby with four legs in Kaduna, she is the second wife of Malam Hassan Ibrahim, from  Sabon Garin Makiyawa in Magama Jibia, Katsina State. Married for four years now already have one son

The baby was born with two reproductive organs.

“The child has both sexes and four legs, the two abnormal legs, and a penis are on the left side of the ribs, only one of the two additional legs is moving, the second doesn’t. Said Hassan.


He said the female gender is at positioned at the right place so according to him the baby is a girl.

When trying to find out what could have resulted to this they asked him if his wife during pregnancy was under antenatal care, he said yes.

An examination has been carried out and result said that the twin was attached to the first at the sacral region to the left, swelling at the lumbosacral region of both twins, polydactyl of the fingers. It was said to be sarcophagus conjoined twins.

Surgery was recommended.
