A New Born Baby Boy Killed By His Mother

A newborn baby boy was strangled to death by his mother after birth. The mother of the baby 30-year-old Robiat Mustapha is placed in prison over the alleged murder of her baby boy, who was considered to have been born out of wedlock

Mr. Abubakar Adamu, the chief Magistrate, said the court lack jurisdiction over the matter and ordered that the accused be placed in prison custody. The case has been adjourned until April 9 for the case to be transferred to a court of competent jurisdiction.
