It has just been reported that a UNICAL student was shot dead by unknown gunman, this happened at the gate close to the UNICAL powerhouse. This happened 3:48 am our local time.
“Three guys were walking and another guy just came from behind, pulled a pistol and shot one of them dead,” said the reporter.
A student in the hostel said, “The trouble began yesterday at Malabor (the moniker for the central students meeting point) with these gang boys and then they settled only for it to start today again,”
She also said the hostels have been locked down with Homeland Security (a security outfit comprising of the Army, Police, and NSCDC) are currently patrolling the campus.
